Yep that thought has been in my head for a few days
Dum Dum Dum
> I hate school and everyone is it
Assuming you mean 'in it', I kinda know what you mean, although to a lesser extent nowadays. I know nearly every guy in my year now (excluding the hards who smoke behind the sheds etc.), and I like nearly all of them, but a couple of years ago I used to...well not dislike, but like Grix said, fear them.
Can't wait to get out of school though, at least into the 6th Form. Although...you're in 6th Form aren't you Sheepster?
In essence though we are just an organic collection of atoms that will doubtless one day atomise ourselves in a huge nuclear war. Fate it seems isn't without a touch of irony, as they say.
The only "religious" philosophy I adhere to is the "do onto others" maxim. Let's face it: we are all in this macabre charade together!
And let us not forget that he himself supposedly killed off the ENTIRE population of Earth with that big ol' flood o' his, and I seem to remember he dropped big rocks on some people in the old testament, and killed all those Egyptians...
Double standards?

That was my favourite bit. Bender

Yes, but maybe God himself is the point of living. Because if we all followed what is in the Bible (the new Testament anyway), then everyone would be kind and friendly...and we wouldn't have poverty, etc. Maybe the purpose of being is to follow Him, and to try and make the World a better place. After all, surely if we lived in a World free from sin, war etc. we'd all be happy and there wouldn't actually need to be a meaning of life.
Okay, I'm confusing myself too, but what I'm saying is...ask most Christians (the actual ones anyway, not the idiots that hate Catholics or Protestants or whatever) and they aren't worried about 'the meaning of life.' I believe, and although Life obviously offers some great moments and lots of advantages, that in a way life is a test. If you live your life by following God's rules (and trust me, they're not impossible) and having a relationship with him, then you get rewarded with Heaven.
So if you don't believe will you be sent to Hell? Maybe, maybe not. I don't know. What exactly is Hell? I don't know. All I know is that God is with me during every second of my life, and I'm cool with that. {:)
I'm off to Christian Youth Group now, be back later. :D
