"Your Views of EMULATION (Good,bad or not the same)"

Emulation occurs in almost every console. What are your views on the matter. I personally don't like it because of it's experience and the hassel. I feel it is just not the same as true gaming and it is pointless with the new systems

Sorry about squishing you in the last chapter of 'Grix Wars', but I'm hoping Grix will repair the damage when he writes the next chapter.

I tried out Goldeneye on the PC, and it crashed my system.
It looked much better though.

They are fun, but it's worth shelling out an extra few quid to buy the original console and then worry about getting the games later, there are more sites dedicated to the Spectrum than emulators, that's how I got my ZX81 with 16k RAM pack (£40 delivered. Bargain!)

N64 emulator does not even run on a pIII 333mhz

What kind of consoles do yu like mulating. I did not like bleem but i heard bleemcast is coming out soon?

Emulation is great. That is all that can be said about it.

I was trying out a PS2 emulator on a 500MHz PIII with 128mb RAM (SSX) but no luck, just got a demo screen which ran ok, but not the game. Still, I'll keep searching.

I agree. But you need a superfast pc just to emulate an n64 game
