Emulation occurs in almost every console. What are your views on the matter. I personally don't like it because of it's experience and the hassel. I feel it is just not the same as true gaming and it is pointless with the new systems

Piracy - No.

Emulation? Yes.

I don't know where I would be without my CCS64, or my Genecyst.

but tecnically it is piracy cause it is against the law

Not if you already own the original cartridge or tape it isn't.

With the right software, ROMs and peripherals, GREAT! Just like the real thing!.

I agree. But you need a superfast pc just to emulate an n64 game

I was trying out a PS2 emulator on a 500MHz PIII with 128mb RAM (SSX) but no luck, just got a demo screen which ran ok, but not the game. Still, I'll keep searching.

Emulation is great. That is all that can be said about it.
