I could be wrong but I dont think merging all the forums was an accident. The Sports and Movies & TV forums werent getting much traffic and so they probably felt it was better to make them both part of general chat.
As for the reviews I'm not sure. Tony and the staffies have been promising us a review section for awhile, so maybe it'll be something seperate from the forum altogether like cheats and walkthroughs.
As for the design, there are a few things I'd like to see changed but overall I like it. :) I'm giving it a 4 out of 5 thumbs up.

also why are there 2 links with general discussion yet they look different. The blacks better btw.
