I retire from supporting football.
...even more so now...
> Smiling eh? I bet you're crying your eyes out :D
woke up late on saturday as I forgot about the early kick off, seeing the score put a downer on the day (after a poo friday afternoon)
checked the Fa cup scores to find southend 1-0 down at half time.
I then lost my mild hangover and checked the scores again at full time when I saw Southend had pulled one back to force the replay :)
It was at this point I thought the premiership is not won or lost in one day this early in the season, we were still top and there is a small possibility (quite small) that I might get to see the away replay of the southend game.
aside from that I registered my name with arsenal.com as being interested in tickets/season tickets for the new stadium. So it didn't turn as bad as it might have done.
But the question is will the rut ever get out of Liverpool? ;-)
------------
Well, if Juventus decide to buy Rooney, who knows?
:D
> Liverpool will have to get out of the rut they're in sometime.
But the question is will the rut ever get out of Liverpool? ;-)
Better be over your dip in form by then my old china.
And when they do, I hope you're there to witness it ;¬)

Yup. Tears of joy at being top of the league! ;-)
okay it hurt us fans but we will bounce back against valencia im sure
Liverpool are in a slump, there's no denying that. Difficulty scoring, and some very average defending. Yet it took over an hour and a goalkeeping mistake to git you your first goal.
----
True, we had a solid defence, and held out quite long; well, certainly longer than 21 minutes anyway! :P
Then, you all but fell apart. Liverpool got a goal back, and towards the end, you were hanging on.
---
Yep, we found the net, we can do that against the Mancs y'see :P
On *those performances*, a decent team could have replaced either, and beaten the other convincingly. Obviously, "playing all 22" was a joke, but - again, *on those performances* - not that big a joke!
---
All I'll say to that part is :P + :D
On recent performances, either team, putting in an identical performance against an Arsenal side in their recent form over the same period, would have lost.
---
What poppycock you speak. ..oh yea, :P
The game was a well-below-par United beating an even-more-below-par Liverpool, and suddenly Fergie thinks you're back on the glory trail.
---
Fergie was wrong then, but he's ceratinly not anymore.
Now I'm not saying that you will lose on Saturday, because that's a different game. All I'm saying is that, the Liverpool or Man U of the last 2 weeks would lose against the Arsenal of the last 2 weeks.
---
Once again, Wookies Wise Words. :P
If you lost on Saturday, the critics will be on you again. But if we lose this Saturday, we'll still be top of the league, so we'll still be smiling. :-D

Smiling eh? I bet you're crying your eyes out :D
