rock is the best & the best rock band is korn

i'll agree with you that Rock is better than pop and garage music but well, scratching your fingers down a blackboard would be easier on the ears than having to listen to So Solid Crew and Gareth Gates.
However as far as rap and hip hop music goes I don't need to keep telling people that it's the best because well i'm confident that it's the best sort of music out there for my personal tastes. I'll just quote Jam Master Jay when he said
"Hip Hop is the essence of all the music that is hot today. If you want your music to be hot, just put some hip hop on the record."
Which is why we're seeing some rock groups trying to get into the hip hop scene and being quite awful might i add. Examples include Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Sum 41 and even 'the mighty Korn' have done a few records with rappers including Q-Tip. The only band EVER to make the transition from Rock music to Rap music and still keeping a shred of dignity left by not being as bad as Vanilla Ice were the Beastie Boys.
I've said my piece and can't be bothered to spend anymore time on the whole Rock vs Rap debate. If you like a certain type of music listen to it and enjoy it and spend your time enjoying it instead of wasting it slagging off others tastes.

Its true - rock (or alt/art/punk/early nineties grunge rock at least) is better than the majority of mainstream pop/garage/hiphop/rap music.
Having said that there is some ******* amazing rap and hiphop out there if you look for it and appreciate it, although its not really my bag....baby.

Indeed, Rock is better, but Korn? Nah, they don't do it for me.
Korn are alright, but they certainly aren't the best rock band around. Still I do agree with the first part of you're arguement.
Rock is truly better than all that other trash and KoRn is my second favorite band.
