I've just dropped my mobile phone down the toilet.

And now, rather unsuprisingly, it doesn't work.

But I do. I just put the card thing in my flat mates phone to read it. Wasn't that important afterall, should have left it.

Anyway, I'm hoping that when my phone is dry it'll work. Fingers crossed...

Ok, full story:

I was about to have a pee. My phone was in my back pocket. I get a text message. I have no idea why I didn't wait, but I thought I could read it whilst widdling.

Time saving you see, doing two things at once.

However, as I got the phone out of my back pocket, as I was bringing my arm around to the front, it slipped out of my hand and landed in the loo.

Luckily, I hadn't started wee-ing and the toilet had been flushed before I went in there.

I take my phone out, and it's no longer on.

It is now in bits near my radiator drying out.

I saw a guy do that in a pub urinal once. whizzing away, typing a text message, and his phone fell out of his hand, straight into his own urine - which was an inch deep - and he had to fish it out and blow-dry it off with the hand-dryer.

He wasn't alone in the pub toilet, there were about 5-6 other people, including me. Oh how we all laughed, loudly, in his face.

Where you talking whilst using it?

I dropped a can of deoderant down the toilet. At first it was like a water pistol, then it went all frothy. And smelled very weak.
