I've just dropped my mobile phone down the toilet.

And now, rather unsuprisingly, it doesn't work.

I actually dropped my 3310 down the toilet in the middle of, of... erm... you know. Well obviously I had to finish the tinkle before I could get it out. Anyway, phone worked fine when I fished it out, if a little yellow.

My 3310 has been dropped everywhere - car park, mud, water, shower, down stairs, and whilst I've changed the case a few times, the phone carries on fine !

"I saw a guy do that in a pub urinal once. whizzing away, typing a text message, and his phone fell out of his hand, straight into his own urine - which was an inch deep - and he had to fish it out and blow-dry it off with the hand-dryer.

He wasn't alone in the pub toilet, there were about 5-6 other people, including me. Oh how we all laughed, loudly, in his face."#

Funniest thing I've read all day

I dropped my old phone all the time. It was one of those briefcase like motorolla phones, and you could do ANYTHING to it and it would still work. My mate had his at building sites etc, always getting dropped from ladders etc and it still worked

My brick-like 3210 has been dropped a lot, still works

My mate dropped his tiny phone in the bog once, I believe... oh how I laughed. I think he had to take it back and get a replacement

Take everything apart, leave it to dry.

Should be fine after that.

My mum did that to my phone, funny of her that was oh hilarious.

Take the battery, simcard out, leave it all seperate to dry somewhere and start to pray.

Yep - they make 'em too small these days. I remember when you had to lug around something the size of a car battery in a rucksack with a 9 foot aerial sticking out of it. Much safer to take in the loo with you.

Was this a public toilet?

If so, given the state of public toilets, I'd have left it and bought another. No way I'd have fished it out. Eeeewwwwww.

Take it back and say that it was shop soiled when you bought it.
