If you have seen the news today - a professor has carried out a live autopsy on a 72 year old german infront of 400 people and TV camara's despite being threatened that he will be aresseted by the police.

The professor felt that it had to be done to 'educate people'

Some found it rather disturbing and others enjoyed watching it, I personally think it's quite sick.

do you agree or disagree with this?

I did change my mind about this - although it was gruesome to watch as they ripped open this huge 72 yr old man and took out his insides (how to lose wait in 7.4 minutes)

it was interesting to know how they actually found out the way someone died and why they had died, in this case the man was a heavy smoker and an drank 2 bottles of wisky every day! his heart showed defects and his liver showed damage in certain areas.

When they pulled his brain out and sliced it like bread - thats an image i'd like to forget...

I found it really good and interesting although almost all the way through i had my hand over my mouth going 'OH DUDE' not cos I was gonna be sick but just because I couldn't believe I was sitting there watching some guys cut a brain in half with a saw.

Oh my god, when I think about it now, that was really wierd. Yeah it was educational and all but there was a guy and they sliced him open and took out his intestines and stuff infront of millions of people. Now thats what I call reality TV.

I thought I'd stumbled across the infamous lost episode of 'Ello 'Ello, where Herr Flick finally kills Rene and dissects him.

I didn't actually watch it, but I think the idea of it is fine. Definately it was for publicity, you could tell by the way he spoke about it, but not for money - the earnings would have barely covered the costs.

But if people want to see it, then others will show it to them. If you think it's wrong, then don't look at the guy that did the cutting, he was merely doing a service. Look towards the people that would happily give money to see it. Without them, it wouldn't have happened.

I watched about 5 mins of this and some bloke shouted out "isn't it disrespectful to wear a hat?"

And I thought, well no more than paying to watch an autopsy.
Publicity stunt? Educational?
Couldnt care either way, just a dead bloke on tv.
