And it's even better as a Directors Cut. Just like Blade Runner was. Some great additional scenes, like Galadriel giving her gifts in Lorien, the Elves passing into the West, Boromir and Aragorn arguing and Biblo rambling about hobbits. All in all, it's exactly what I thought it was going to be - closer to the book and an altogether better film. Still my favourite film, by the way.

Thats all.

Well it wont appeal to all tastes.

Each to their own.

LOTR was so long it came in three parts if you downloaded it, instead of the usual 2. I downloaded it, and got as far as to when Gandalf was shouting at that midgit about the ring before I turned it off due to boredom. Only saw the film all the way through a few months ago, and I wasn't impressed

LOTR is excellent. My favourite film by miles.

Did you get the version with the Argonath book ends?

So, it's Lord of the Rings, but even longer?

*scratches head*

The original was longer than time itself, I honestly couldn't sit through a 3 hour + film, no matter how much I enjoy it. That's like, a quarter of my waking day.

I've told you once before, I'm not re-doing A levels, as I passed them. I'm doing a national diploma in media production, readying myself to be one of the all time greatest directors... or something

As for my favourite film, there are too many to name, can't pick just one

How something as messy as LOTR could be anybody's favourite film is beyond old MoJo here
