"Got my LotR 4-disc"

And it's even better as a Directors Cut. Just like Blade Runner was. Some great additional scenes, like Galadriel giving her gifts in Lorien, the Elves passing into the West, Boromir and Aragorn arguing and Biblo rambling about hobbits. All in all, it's exactly what I thought it was going to be - closer to the book and an altogether better film. Still my favourite film, by the way.

It certainly looks like it, it comes with 4 discs instead of the usual 2, so im guessing there is quite a considerable bit of extras in there.

What are the extras like?

Is it worth getting this if you've already got the one that came out back in August?

The extended version is much better, and like the original post says, more like the book. Lucas better watch out, Lord Of The Rings is going to surpass the holy trilogy when it's all finished !

And the book ends in the deluxe set are great too, better than the boring predictable episode 2 2-disc set....a good film, but why don't we get a box set like America ?

Bet we don't get the Spiderman boxed set either...grr :(
