I can now reveal that...
It was utter ballocks.
This was announced by Nintendo, not in those very words, obviously, a few days back.
And for all those that didn't know, Nintendo re-announced the deadline of October 2001 for Gamecube in America.
Now, lets have a think.
Nintendo want to sell Gamecubes, yes?
When do consoles sell the most? Christmas.
How long after normally does a console launch in Britain after America? A few months.
You do the maths. : )
You can come back now.
You... YES YOU! Damn you.
...Bra ha ha ha... *Runs away*
Actually I'm a bit of a THE fan. They are a good distributor. Nintendo call the shots remember.
*Expanding thoughts and rumours mode*
THE games, the crappiest thing that ever got involved with Nintendo, bar Pokemon, has been laid off.
THE games were the ones that held back copies of The World is Not Enough, the ones that sold memory packs for £30, before giving them away free with DK64.
The ones that didn't get us our Golden Ocarina of Time, for that, I will never forgive them.
Now, Nintendo run shotgun for Britain, and if Nintendo are as good to us as they were last time, (READ: Club Nintendo...), then we are in for a good time.
World Wide launch? Suprisingly now more possible than ever.
