That was crap, total plot rip from Final Destination and the fact that his powers weren't apparent before is retarded.
It's Jack centric, and says that in this episode you get a very real sense of why the Others abducted the children way back when.
The next one does look interesting...

I loved it because it DID NOT explain it. It gave you a taster, a slight hint at why he can see the future, but it didnt fully explain it so Im eger to watch more episodes now.
Just have to wait another season...
