Oh you stopped calling him Benry now =)

And apart from those lots there were a few people on balloons and small planes that crashed on the Island and I think just died. Except for this helicopter woman.

Nope, she's been on the island for around 20 years. The Black Rock is around 200 years old.
Makes me think, if she turned up on the island 20 years ago with her scientist friends, were they also massacred by the "hostiles"?

This is getting a little confusing in terms of groups now.

We have

The Hostiles - Unknown how long they've been around

The Dharma Intiative - Ben came with them and stabbed them in the back

Danielle's group of scientists - I assume they're not the same group as the above because of Bens age. If they are the same group however that means Rousseau escaped the massacre by Ben (The father of her child) and the hostiles. Did Ben help her escape?

The new inhabitants

Teacher dude mentioned something about it, way back before he exploded. Not sure if he was talking about a tsunami, but he mentioned the water coming way inland and telling the beaches to move deeper into the island.

Speaking of tsunamis, you don't suppose that's how the Black Rock got their?

Oh and is crazy French lady part of them? She said she came on a ship didn't she?

Its nearly December 26th on the island which is the day of that big tsunami. Seen as the island should be somewhere around where the tsunami hit, I wonder if it will be included in the show, even if its only quite subtle.

It's just as well the creators denied that then.

I'm sure the question "Did she die on The Island?" is very important. Simply because when Ben said no, Richard's face seemed to drop.

Still, the evidence for them all being dead and/or in Limbo is mounting... =(

I dont get why Dharma are still dropping food on the island after all their employees were massacred. Maybe the "hostiles" also work for Dharma and they exterminated the other group because they were failing.
I think the have to work for Dharma really. They have use of the sub, get food drops, recruit people from the rest of the world. The fact they dont age though is very odd.
I thought the boat may have run aground when the island was underwater but i dont think it's that because of how the island is developed. It wouldnt have been dragged that far inland (and through the trees) either i suspect.

There might have been a tsunami that washed it inland, or the crew pulled it inland, or the island was mostly underwater during the 1800's.

Initially I thought it was a bad job from the make-up department, but it cant just be that. Ben went from a little kid to a fully grown man while Richard didn't appear to age a day.

It makes sense that the others could be descendants from the black rocks crew. The ship was from the late 1800's and its feasible that the crew survived on the island and made it their home. If nobody can find the island with modern technology there would be little chance of finding a missing ship in the 1800's. I still don't understand why the ship is in the middle of the jungle.

The descendants quite likely anyway, not too sure about the not-aging business.
