Killing innocent people and demanding money in order to stop. Know correct me if i am wrong but THAT IS terrorism. The only difference is the motive was money (If that was the real motive). Otherwise it is no different from the cheninian rebels in Moscow, or the lorry drivers who stopped petrol getting through for that matter. They are all forms of terrorism, and the goverment should never bow down to their demands because if they do, that gives everyone a free reign to do the same.

So what? Being Muslim is not the same as being an Arab. And what does being Jamaican have to do with anything at all? That's neither Muslim nor Arab.

A civilian carbine (not exactly the same)
