Personally, I think the song's pretty good, but not as good as some of the other unreleased stuff. They did a good job with the video though.
> Could you BE anymore ignorant or a spammer!?!?!?
I already apologized for why I "spammed" - I personally hate spammers and that's why I was horrified when I realised I muliple-posted. I don't like being labelled a spammer any more then the next guy and that is why I generally don't spam.
Also, wasn't this meant to be about the YKYR video? - not an excuse of a post for you to have a go at Blank. I think that you've blown up what was a 2-line post by him into a chance to get one up on him. And this in itself could be interpreted as spam.

Thank you Vottanator! See my point yet Blank? He agrees.

SOME of them do, I will agree to that extent, but you can't say that everyone who likes Nirvana likes them because Kurt Cobain shot himself, because that isn't true.

No thanks, I'm quite capable. Look - here's what I'm saying. You can't say that everyone who likes Nirvana likes them because KC shot himself, because it just isn't true. It may be your opinion, but it's hardly a fact, is it? A tad ignorant, UNLESS it's your opinion, in which time you should state so...

I didn't, whether you believe me or not.
This argument is stupid, it'll just keep dragging on. Let's just forget about it, unless you wish to continue in a slagging off match, which I do not. I didn't come here to make enemies.
> Nirvana weren't punk rock - they were grunge rock
You obviously dont know too much. They were CALLED Grunge Rock by the media but THEY would always call themselves Punk Rock. Not in the sense of Blink 182 punk but original rock eg Sex Pistols.

You also said that you think Nirvana & Kurt are very overrated
-You don't like Nirvana's music, so no wonder you dont like the new song. I like it, other people like it, its a good song. You just go around and listen to total crap like coldplay (As everyone can see for themselves in the "If you are listening to music at this moment.... forum)

Nirvana weren't punk rock - they were grunge rock
The music was simple, the lyrics were complicated: The result was some of the greatest songs ever written & some of the greatest riffs ever made

The point I was trying to make is that the reason the band are still so popular is because he is no longer alive. If he had lived, and the badn had just faded away, they wouldn't be half as popular. Sure, I believe some people like them for the music, but you have to admit that a lot of people just do it for popularity or because they think of Kurt Cobain as some kind of martyr.

I've seen two videos for that song, neither of which I found funny, maybe there's a third I haven't seen. And who's Toby Maguire?

Errrrm....but that's an opinion. I can deny it. Their stuff isn't really that great when YOU listen to it. When I listen to Nelly I am tempted to go out to buy a gun and make an attempt on his life for polluting the musical world the way he does. Yet other people like it. I can't believe they do but they do. It's been said a thousand times before but it's true: IT'S ALL DOWN TO TASTE!
People loved Nirvana before Kurt killed himself. Because he killed himself, they are remembered more but it doesn't mean their music is poor.
And even if you don't like Nirvana, you have to lvoe the 'In Bloom' video. It's just so funny. In fact, Toby Maguire modelled himself on Kurt Cobain in that video. True.
