I wouldn't be so sure about that. :)
I don't think that Everton defeating Arsenal was even a possibilty and from what Barry Venison was saying it seemed that it was almost the mentality of the Arsenal players. Quite willing to bet that Arsenal go on another long undefeated streak again though with the return of Robert Pires.
I was watching the game on Live Text from Arsenal.com, and it said around 4:30 that Arsenal were looking tired. Considering most of our squad have been out on international duties, that's fair enough.
Please note, I'm not using that as an excuse - it's simply a statement of fact.
And Liverpool's win today was flukey! ;-)
Granted, the had the better chances, but the overall effort and possesion, moves, passes etc. where dominated by Liverpool.
Decision: It was only a matter of time before Liverpool won that one.
