Has anyone seen this advert?
It's rubbish!
You see someones head float off the body to a duck who says "Welcome to the third place" and thn a women shouts "Playstation 2! The Third Place!"
This advert is rubbish! It's ment to make you buy it not go off it for ever! Whatever the 3rd place is I definately don't wanna go there!
I hope other companies like Nintendo and Microsoft don't start these stupid adverts which are off-putting!
This one's already getting on my nerves!
(By the way I'm the original Edgy!)
You see, the best sauce to go with Lamb? Mint Sauce.
The advert was a sheep on a bike. With the words "Mint Sauce" underneath. I have a sticker of it on my wall... my, special, wall...
I mean.
That was the ad campaign of MTUK, or Mountain Biking UK.
It still makes more sense than the crap advert though.
POWER OF THE SHEEP
Second man: *Gets in car and drives as quickly as he can to preorder a PS2*
Yes. Right. Any publicity is good publicity I suppose?
Not really. If there was news that I had been found guilty of a terrible crime, I hardly think you would like me as much, no?
And this advert is, truly, a terrible crime. I even went on their internet site to see anything else they had on there.
Now this has to be the most pathetic thing I have seen in my entire life. One of their slogans is:
"Do electric sheep dream of andriods?"
TALK ABOUT MISSING THE POINT!!!
And copying, and just being absoultuly awful at sureality.
have you ever seen an advert generate so
much posts? Therefore, it's working.
Spreading the word of Sony by word of
mouth, especially over the internet,
is a good way of imprinting PS2 in our
minds. Perhaps we'll get so sick of it
by Christmas that we'll be pre-ordering as
soon as we get a chance.
But I doubt a small edible boid, (I love that word...) symbolises "Elsewhere". I think it more likely symbolises "Nothing".
And as for the puked up arm, or the head floating away... Well perhaps the head floating away is supposed to symbolise light headed highs, or something.
Anyway, it still makes little sense, even when you understand it... : )
And it's still crap.
Where shall I go?
I know! :D
The Third Place! That's one hell of a man sized duck!
