Trying to fill my personal statement for uni in...It's just a pain.

It's not my fault I haven't done anything with my life. Kinda puts it all into perspective writing your achievements down on paper though...

Strangely worrying.

Any advice?

Yeah, surely AS levels are just like doing an exam on what you do in the first year of the old A levels ? I mean the first year stuff is easy anyway, ended up with ABBE for my A Levels, damn maths.....

But you do get loads of free time at Uni though, I only go three days a week and spend about 10 hours a week there, bit ore doing work and when it's coursework time, but you get longer holidays - month at Christmas, two weeks Easter, Mid May to end of September :)

Well I got BBDD which was quite good for me, I had to work hard, but A level means you actually have to work harder rather than keeping constant to get the same grades you got at AS. So its work, work, work. Once you get into Uni though its a bit easier as you get more free time.

LOL...I can only dream of grades like that, still never mind, all you can do is your best at the end of the day I suppose.

I actually found my Personal Statement easy to write, you don't need to have been in Churchills war cabinet or anything just write why you want to take that course, even if its a load of balls. I still don't have a clue what I want do as a career so I just write a very brief paragraph about my outside interests (no, not an executive couch potato) and the rest was all about my course. I writ I have read up well on Philosophy (even though I haven't really got round to it) and blew some minor school activities out of proportion. But at the end of the day they read thousands and only really look at a few letters on a sheet, or at least I suspect.

Unless your going to Oxbridge, in which case you need to have done all kinds of crap. Some kids went on a trip to Iraq to help freedom fighters just for something to talk about in the student bar. And one of them was almost killed.

Thank you for dealing with this so promptly it's nice having a service provider that offers a good service, rare to find nowadays.
Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
