You can use ISDN cables as network cables i think.
im not that clued up with the whole networking ting.
check internet sites maybe.
I really would go for the rj45 option. Even if you're an idiot and buy from PC World you're looking at total expenditure of under £30, whereas USB kits usually cost in the region of £50 and give you poor performance.
Note, you can't just plug two USB ports into each other with male-male cable, as I'm told you'll be lucky not to blow your USB bus. Didn't happen to me though.
Buy 2 NIC's (network interface cards) which are around £10 - £15 each and some Rj45 Patch cablew which will be form £5 - £15 depending on length needed ( can also get all this in a kit ), this will give you a max of 100Mbps transfer (can get the 1gig card, but not really worth it for what you wanna do).
Buy a USB network kit, this way you will need USB (universal serial bus) ports on both pc's and the kit, this is only a max of 12mbps transfer rate but is easier than the NIC's one as you don't have to open the pc up and fit 2 cards, also the USB kit will probably be a little more expensive than NIC's
They are your best bets, as there are tons of differant types of networks.
