Playing Halo in surround sound is nothing short of glorious! I am struggling to find words to describe how good Dolby Digital Sound is and it really does have to be experienced to be believe. Only Cliche's and Cheesy sentences can describe this system so I will now proceed to bring this post to an end :)
In Short go get one of these systems! It is worth every penny!
Or tell your family to get used to it :-)
How about Austin Powers? 1 or 2. Maybe both.
And the family's learnt to ignore my sub. It's a beast, I only have to turn the volumne on the sub up to over a half and my desk starts vibrating and making a shaking sound :\
Sorry Tom but I thought 'The Others' was a very poor film so I won't be getting it I don't think. I have a lot of the latest releases, Training Day, Blade 2, Black Hawk Down, The Art of War etc. Even though the film Phantom Menace is pretty naff I am going to get the DVD as it contains the best 5.1 soundtrack next to the ultimate Black Hawk Down.
If anyone has any ideas about what to get to cusion the bass then please would you say? My friend said something about triangulr spikes that go under the four corners of the sub which absorb the rumble but don't damage the affect, any ideas? Thanks!
With you new job, surely you could afford that and an Xbox for the same price as what us lot paid for the Xbox alone...
Maybe rent it or something. But check reviews first to see if it's your type of thing.
