Sorry for devotinga whole post to this but I have to express the sheer delight that I am experiencing at the moment! Yesterday I picked up a Dolby Digital 5.1/DTS Surround Sound system and to be honest I can't type words to describe how awesome this piece of equipment is. Without sounding too cheesy (although it really does :) life just isn't the same without it :)

Playing Halo in surround sound is nothing short of glorious! I am struggling to find words to describe how good Dolby Digital Sound is and it really does have to be experienced to be believe. Only Cliche's and Cheesy sentences can describe this system so I will now proceed to bring this post to an end :)

In Short go get one of these systems! It is worth every penny!

LOL, it took me ages to get into the envelope but for the footage I have witnessed it was worth every nail broken ;) Splinter Cell look even better, Halo 2 trailer in 5.1 :D Ninja Gaiden looks fantastic, Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball looked very tasty (if you get my drift) and Blinx looked superb! I havent' watched the whole DVD yet but I am going too tonight :)

I have also played Hitman 2 the DEMO tonight and I am a little disappointed with it. However on the other hand Colin McRae Rally 3 is Stupeniously great! Plus Dark Angel, Steel Batallion and Jurasic Park: Project Genesis look amazing.

Well, You could send a cheque for £100, And donate your 5.1 System to the Gamezfreak Fund. That'll Be enough i guess :) lol

Like the ultra stylish paper envelope i made? With added extra strong tape of course!

I am really intrested in getting a 5.1 system, I might actually go out and get one!

its his accomadation. I have to live with him so he kind of makes the rules unless i help with the rent.

I hope to get my own place when i turn 17. Reasons being:

1)My own place to do whatever i want.
2)I can do whatever i want.
3)No one to tell me what to do, so i can do what i want.
4)I would try and find a place that supports Broadband unlike here.
5) i can do what i want. Bling.

Happy birthday.

I need a 5.1 system, i can only imagine how good hitman 2 would be if i had one. I have only just come to terms about how crap the TV speakers are in my room.

I have a dolby set up in my front room, though since the holidays i havnt been aloud the xbox there cos my brother dont let me.

Maybe i could just knick the speakers and system without him knowing. Its not like the ps2 deserves it. Xbox games have much better sound. I think.

LOL, I think I will go with the first idea ;)

My dad is routing out some old System Six to put under the Sub as it is a really strong piece of carpet that will take the effects of the bass. On top of that I am getting a new TV Stand that is three tiers high. One of the tiers for my TV, another for my Xbox and Dreamcast and the bottom tier for my Sub and Amplifier.

I watched a bit of Toy Story 2 and its very good in 5.1 :) I also watched Blade 2 again but this time in DTS! Blade 2 contains some of the most amazing surround sounds and is a definate purchase for people who are lucky enough to get their hands on one of these systems. This week-end I am going to sample abou 5 more DVD's so I will report back with which ones are the best for 5.1/DTS.

One other thing, I purchased an Advanced RGB scart for the optical input cable and the picture is superb. Before getting it I was optimistic of whether it would be any better than the original Scart that came with the console but for those with bigger>>>Big TV's it is a must purchase :)

Thanks for the ideas Tom on what DVD's I might check them out some time. My next DVd is going to Passenger 57 followed by Star War Episode 1/2 Box Set and Starship troopers. I am also looking forward to Spider-Man and Resident Evil as they will both probably be in a high quality 5.1 and possibly even contain the option for DTS (like the Blade 2 DVD).

If Sav or Gamezfreak are reading this then please would you tell me if the Games Matrix DVD supports 5.1? Cheers!

Reports on good 5.1 DVD's will follow :)
