What are the guns like? are they really powerful like in the original Turok, I loved the guns in the 1st but then the guns in the sequels felt almost like pee shooters compared to the original game. Oh and is there a dirty great chaingun and a nice shotgun to use? always need them in Turok games.
Is it nice and gory like the original few games? Turok 3 was gory but as soon as someone died their body dissapeared almost immediatly.
What are the levels like? I enjoyed the original Turok the most, I liked the levels where you where walking around old Tombs and you could barely see anything, partly to do with fogging I know but those levels rocked.
What are the enemies like? is it all Dinosaurs or is like the original where's there's a good mixture of both.
Oh and is it worth getting?
Right that's me done, thanks for ya help.
And Monkey Assist...I want to play that now!

After reading NGC's Timesplitters 2 review, I MUST have that game. It's got a Map Maker, for God's sake... A MAP MAKER!!!!! D'YA HEAR ME? A MAP MAKER!!!!!!!
Surely it can't be anywhere near as-'bad'-as Agent Under Fire!!?
What about those Flying levels and any other non-standard FPS levels?
NGC gave Turok 71% and Timsplitters 2 92%
I haven't played it myself so I can't comment.
This game is worth getting for the chaingun alone.

I liked the guns in the second game, but there you go... yep, there's a dirty great chaingun and a shotgun (which can be charged up for maximum Sleg splatterage). And the rest of the weapons are suitably meaty, too. Even the pistol has a decent kick to it.

Is it gorey? Does a bear crap in the woods? Hack limbs off, shoot heads off and use the Swarm Bore to leave Sleg soilders as limbless, wriggling stumpy things. Classic.

It's all jungles and stuff to start off with, but after that you'll be swarmed with loads of run-of-the-mill sci-fi levels.

There are more dinosaurs nearer the beginning of the game than at the end, but that's because you move out of the jungle. The Sleg themselves are quite intelligent and will move around strategically or run away if the odds aren't stacked in their favour. And there's also a lot of "neutral" wildlife, that can be shot to bits. Mwahahahhaa!

Duh!
