Sony have now confirmed that there will be a PS3 and it should be finished sometime in 2005!
There's nothing up on their site yet but if the last two console from sony are anything to go by then I just can't wait for the PS3!
Maybe it'll be more powerfull than the Xbox!

Sony seem to be keeping fairly quiet about it though!

Maybe Sony could offer Intertchangable covers?

My PS3 design would be in the shape of a small golden piramid with the cap-stone at the top missing.
And the games themselves would be little piramid-shaped (cap-stone-shaped) cartridges which would slot into the apex-point of the console.

I'd also name it the *PlayStation Free* - because every game would boast non-linear free-roaming gameworlds.
Also, Sony would give the console away for free to anyone who buys two ro more games.

All competition would be well and truly destroyed.

This is true, and it's actually fairly old news, and if you're saying the console is going to be ****, then you're very badly mistaken.

Now I'm a GC fan, but PS3 will wipe the floor with it, if it can boast all the things it's boasing about right now.

There isn't ANY supporting evidence to support any of this, Doughnut Master has just made the ENTIRE thing up anyway.
