It's been rumoured for a few weeks that Nintendo have a big announcement coming towards the end of this year. Now Japanese magazine V-Jump have also hinted at a huge announcement to be made before the end of the year.
It's been said that this announcement will spark a huge boom in the sales of the GameCube worldwide. There has been much speculation regarding what the announcement will be, but Nintendo are never predictable, so who can guess what it will be?'
From IGN/Cube-Europe.
Eh? What you think?
We were all expecting to hear something from Microsoft the other day, and that's when we heard the deal was done.
But I have a feeling it could be to do with the future of the Mario series.
Maybe SunShine will be the last adventure, while we'll still be able to see spin-offs like Mario RPG, Paper Mario and 128 Marios.
Maybe they'll say "Microsoft din't really get Rare, it wus just a joke.." or "We bought the rights to create more Starfox games". I can't see these two increasing Gamecube sales tremendously though.
GC Pokemon Stadium Online or something.
Beyond that, all I can imagine is a GC price cut, or the acquisition of some major developer like Blizzard or Microprose or something equally exciting.
How exciting that will be.....
> 1) nintendo now own microsoft
That was a joke when posted earlier!
You really think that will work!?!
2) nintendo buy out capcom
3) nintendo bring out a dvd add on ?????????
4) halo and all future halo releases/spin offs are now owned by microsoft
