At the minite some of the games which are just that have come out a few months ago like meadle of hounnor dont work on windows xp they work on millenium.But some of the even older games which used to work on the windows 98 now dont work with either xp or millenium.That happened to me when i got my pc upgraded some of my older games didny work any more.But on the other hand the few games that do work on xp are great the speed is far better than before.

I also use Win 98 SE, but I can't say I've ever heard of this meadle of hounnor. :)

i use win 98 still no need for fancy stuff yet until new comp.

Well, while it's true that XP does have some compatibility issues with older games, despite the compatibility wizzard which is supposed to negate such problems, it also has to be said that Medal Of Honour DOES work on XP. I know this because I use XP and I own MoH.

TBH, it's not that much of a problem, since I've found that XP is only non-compatible for games over about 3 years old, and even then only some of them.

And to be honest, most people own an older version of windows anyway, so if you want to play older games, it's no great obstacle.

But XP is the most reliable, useful and stable windows platform EVER, and not being able to use a few old games is a small price to play.
