At the minite some of the games which are just that have come out a few months ago like meadle of hounnor dont work on windows xp they work on millenium.But some of the even older games which used to work on the windows 98 now dont work with either xp or millenium.That happened to me when i got my pc upgraded some of my older games didny work any more.But on the other hand the few games that do work on xp are great the speed is far better than before.

win 98 SE was good will they bringo ut Win XP SE....

Im really just replying because there hasnt been a post in this neck of the woods for a woefully long time. But i can say XP looks pretty.

I've had no probs with games on XP at all - even my older ones.

And I also use it with it own XP look and feel - I prefer it to the old look. And I love the improved Start menu functions.

Actually, I still use the Teletubby look that XP first came with... the alternatives make the screen harder to see.

heh, I know no-one who kept XP on the "retro" baby looks for more than a day.

Se is the best ........... by far.. Xp when i used it is good, fancy looks and all but saying it plays games faster they are trying to sell more copies..... but 98 was always good okay it gets the BSOD now and again but rarely!

I wish I could do that, get me into the top 100 posters in no time!! :-)

I've tried the demo of Battlefield 1942 with my XP computer, but it froze when the demo level was just about to finish loading. Other demos which failed to load at all included Red Faction and Hitman 2.
