In a stockholders conference a couple of days ago, Vince answered questions on a multitude of issues, such as the brand extension etc. However, in the most exciting bit of news, he said ECW would be returning in the future in a late night slot as WWE's 'third brand' after the brand extension has been properly established (and who knows how long that will take).
Exciting news, huh? ECW could provide the hardcore form of wrestling missing from WWE now. Maybe, just maybe, in the future we could see all three former companies competing under the WWE umbrella. If Bischoff turns RAW into Nitro, as has been speculated, we could concievably, in the long term, have ECW, WCW and WWE - imagine the potential for crosspromotional matches, oh the possibilities...
*faints*

Dont we all!

Damn, I wish I was Triple H.
What you say is true, but I really think they have more power over him than that. Thing is, even if HHH didn't exist, can you imagine the current WWE writing team actually doing that? A little tournament over three weeks? Something that's actually interesting?
At the moment I don't really think so.
Anyway, doesn't matter now. I think they did a better job with HHH on friday's RAW, he wasn't actually seen until two thirds of the way through. As long as they don't plaster him all over RAW, then I reckon he'd be one of the strongest talents RAW has, for his draw value if nothing.
About the HHH thing, Triple H has been giving average matches, boring promos taking up the whole show. Maybe if he stopped complaining backstage he would be far better off.
Jericho rules.
You mention RVD, Booker T, Jericho, Hardy - do you see HHH doing the job to these guys? I don't. He was GIVEN a title, for God's sake! Instead, they could have had a tournament over 3 RAW shows for the vacant title, with everyone on the roster entering - it would get people tuning in next week, and would elevate new guys. But instead, HHH gets it for no reason. Oh wait, there is a reason. He is doing the boss' daughter.
Why is Smackdown doing better if Mark Henry's on every week? Noticeably though, he's been missing for a month or so *phew*.
Think about it. Lets look at the RAW main eventers:
Triple H
Rob Van Dam
Chris Jericho
Ric Flair
Booker T
Kane
The Big Show (possibly)
Jeff Hardy (apparently)
Now, so far, RAW has only really used the top four guys out of that list in the actual main events, apart from the odd week. And now, they're taking the best overall wrestler out of the list (in my opinion), and sticking him in matches with Goldust, while Flair and Bubba Dudley get in the main events.
Smackdown's main event was Mysterio vs Benoit vs Angle. Top quality stuff, and with Edge vs Guerrero just underneath you don't get much better than that.
While Jericho vs Goldust was good however, I feel both men could be utilised better, especially the Intercontinental Champion. Booker T's a fantastic talent and he's wasted in the mid-card, along with Kane who's an exciting guy to watch as well, just for his character if anything.
With the additions of Randy Orton and The Hurricane I reckon RAW could be the show with the better mid-card (not counting the Cruisers who aren't really being used at the moment), because they've got Jeff Hardy, Lance Storm, Christian, William Regal, Test, Chris Nowinski, Goldust, Tommy Dreamer, Randy Orton and The Hurricane among others. They just need to use it properly, and the same for their main event.
Surely even all you HHH-haters wouldn't mind watching a four-way or a tag match involving The Game, Chris Jericho, RVD and Booker T?
