I was channel-hopping again the other day, and WWE was on Sky. I saw this guy called Rey Mysterio 'fighting', and it really grabbed my attention.
Now I'm not a fan of wrestling, as most of you will know. I've always known it's scripted, and the idea of large sweaty men groping each other doesn't appeal in the slightest.
But this guy was one heck of an athlete/acrobat, flying around the ring like a chimp on acid. And I thought it was fantastic.
Even in a pre-planned bout, to pull off those moves at that speed takes some doing. The guy has my utmost respect.

Glad you enjoyed it. It seems to me that most non-wrestling fans always seem to appreciate the cruiserweights the most, because of their athleticism and technique. Maybe if WWE gave more time to cruiserweights on Smackdown, and actual storylines for them, they might get more viewers. But what do they do - bring over Undertaker and have him take over the show.
