Now I'm not a fan of wrestling, as most of you will know. I've always known it's scripted, and the idea of large sweaty men groping each other doesn't appeal in the slightest.
But this guy was one heck of an athlete/acrobat, flying around the ring like a chimp on acid. And I thought it was fantastic.
Even in a pre-planned bout, to pull off those moves at that speed takes some doing. The guy has my utmost respect.

Yes. That was around the '98 Hell In A Cell when Taker had the rivalry with Mankind and Kane had one with Austing, wasn't it?

He's been with Kane a fair few times, and Undertaker a fair few times. He liked to switch between them a lot. :-D

Fortunately they changed his character completely (I hated it), and Paul Bearer hasn't really been since at all apart from a couple of years ago when he returned with Undertaker's brother Kane, I *think*. Could be wrong though.
He writes columns on the WWE.com website now.
My ex was nuts on the whole wrestling thing, and always used to go to the UK evernts. She was a big Undertaker fan, and her and her brother made their own Undertaker costumes (when he was "dead" and wore all the black & grey clovver) and went along dressed up.
She had loads of photos of them with the wrestlers back at the hotel after the events.
What happened to Undertaker's sidekick - Paul Bearer was it?
Probably the best cruiserweight in the business.
Fortunately my Dad did actually see Tajiri wrestle once, and he admitted that it was 'clever.'
Shame that unlike you Wookiee, my Dad wouldn't even stop and watch the wrestling, he'd just turn it over straight away.
And I'd hardly call it a 'confession.' Okay, so maybe if you posted it on FOG it would be, but not here. {:)
And I'm surprised you remembered how to spell his name. :D
Cruiserweight wrestlers always seem to gain the respect of non-WWE fans when they watch it.
And you've picked a particularly good Cruiserweight too, Wookiee.
:-D
