Capcom have announced a planned November release for "Steel Batallion," a tank combat game for Xbox that will be packaged with a custom 40-button game controller and will sell for $200 in the US so £200 in the UK.

Actually, it should be around £135.00 in the UK.

I only said £200 because they usually just change the sign from $ to £ and leave the price the same.

Steel Battalion is definatly a hardcore gamers title. I love mech games so its already been pre-ordered. ;-)

And for anyone whose interested - the sequel is being made and will be online playable. Apparently, to talk to your team mates, you'll have to tune into their radio frequency. Not only that, but static and radiation will interfere as you try to talk to team mates. ;-)

You'd have to be a seriously hardened and devoted Xbox/Capcom fan to choose this over a Gamecube and a couple of games.

Speaking of which, after selling your Gamecube after not liking Rogue Leader and Luigi's Mansion, have you any plans to buy one again?
The launch games probably weren't your cup of tea, but the best is yet to come...
