I was looking through the N.GC Magazine and stumbled accross the release dates of all the Resident Evil games. So here they are:-

Resident Evil = OUT NOW

Resident Evil Zero = Spring 2003

Resident Evil 2 = Summer 2003

Resident Evil Nemesis = Summer 2003

Resident Evil: Code Veronica = Winter 2003

Resident Evil 4 = 2004

Also, 'Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil Nemesis are going to hit the shops for 20 quid'

In Resident Evil 2, there will be a Rookie mode, which starts off players with the threee most powerful weapons - Rocket Launcher, Sub- machine gun and the Gatling Gun - as well as unlimited ammunition!!!
There will also be new characters like Leon Kennedy and and Claire Redfield.

Resident Evil Nemesis = New plot, continuing the story behind the spread of the virus.
--- 'Multi-directional' story: the decisions you make in the affect where the story goes.
--- You can play as Jill Valentine from Resident Evil, and team up with Carlos Oliviera.
--- More Zombies: ten different types of flesh-chompers.
--- 'Dodge' move allows you to sidestep oncoming attacks.
--- Interactive environments

If quite a substantial bit has been added to Resi 2 and 3, I might consider getting them. But as it is, right now the only resi game I'm looking forward to is Resi 0 which is looking great. Hope it plays like the origanal game, which rules.

They are the characters from Resident Evil 2, they're not new.

That Rookie Mode was on the PC version, it's far too easy with it so that's not new either, also on the PC version there was a Battle Mode you could get once you had completed it all (both disks) which included some old and new characters.

Just thought I'd share that with you all :)
