I was looking through the N.GC Magazine and stumbled accross the release dates of all the Resident Evil games. So here they are:-

Resident Evil = OUT NOW

Resident Evil Zero = Spring 2003

Resident Evil 2 = Summer 2003

Resident Evil Nemesis = Summer 2003

Resident Evil: Code Veronica = Winter 2003

Resident Evil 4 = 2004

Also, 'Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil Nemesis are going to hit the shops for 20 quid'

In Resident Evil 2, there will be a Rookie mode, which starts off players with the threee most powerful weapons - Rocket Launcher, Sub- machine gun and the Gatling Gun - as well as unlimited ammunition!!!
There will also be new characters like Leon Kennedy and and Claire Redfield.

Resident Evil Nemesis = New plot, continuing the story behind the spread of the virus.
--- 'Multi-directional' story: the decisions you make in the affect where the story goes.
--- You can play as Jill Valentine from Resident Evil, and team up with Carlos Oliviera.
--- More Zombies: ten different types of flesh-chompers.
--- 'Dodge' move allows you to sidestep oncoming attacks.
--- Interactive environments

They won't be £20. Capcom have officially said that they'll be full priced games. And they won't be any different to the originals as they are ports, not remakes.

And Capcom have also announced Gun Survivor 4. Which will be a Res Evil not a Dino Crisis. You'd have thought they'd have got the message by now.

Well I've just seen some screenshots of Resi 2 and 3 for the Cube, and they look exactly the same as the PS1 versions. Still a bit blocky looking as well. I probably won't getting those game then, I think I'll wait for Resi 0 instead.

Compared to the UK PSone release Resident Evil 2 will include the extreme battle mode, Full Dual Shock and Analog support, a 60hz option, better Mip Mapping (Joined polygons), faster loading times and uncompressed movies in gorgeous DVD Quality like Wesker's Report. Nothing as severe as remaking them, actually Capcom said "We haven't changed a single pologon" but they're all running on next gen hardware ;-)

and after comparing how fast the characters run in the remake whilest in the 60hz option I'd buy the ports JUST so to eliminate the slooowdown and borders that the originals suffered with because of the Poor PAL Conversion.

I'm going to try and get all of them. I probably won't, but the GameCube Resident Evil is the first one I've played and I love it! Plus with Nemesis Resi 2 for £20, shouldn't be too hard.

Too bad I'm really bad at the game...

YES thats a point. It is going to be Code Veronica X. There is a big difference between the X version and the original Dreamcast one. You find out more about the Wesker we all get to love and hate from the orginal in the X version. Where as in the normal original Code Veronica he is still a bit of a mystery.
