I hate nothing more than needing to replace my guitar strings

Oh God

Taking the old ones out... fiddling at back of start to pull the bullet out and then cutting hands on curly string end.

Then putting new ones in and twisting and threading and cutting etc

Bah

Sounds damn good though

You wusses - if you love playing what's wrong with drawing a bit of blood now and then on dodgy string ends ?

Head winders - pah !

....no

There was a bloke at college that did though, I always wondered if that was in case he had to combat rogue kits intent on world domination.

??
Sure it's easy to remove them, but putting the new ones on and trying to tune them pitch-perfect after you've left them sitting on for a day is a pain in the butt.
You can't get a drum-tuner, not like you geetar ponces.

Hm, I remember the first time a string snapped on my while I was playing my uncle's guitar...I panicked and thought I'd broken it..Had to restring it myself later, first time changing strings and it was a floyd rose bridge, seemed far too complicated.

Shh, I was little.

Pah, peg winders..no such luxuries..

Buy a twirly thing that sits on yer machine heads to tighten the strings - you'll to it in 1/4 of the time and your wrist wont ache either..

Replacing drums skins is much easier. I'm a new hi-hat and ride for my kit on Saturday. Excited as ones I have are rubbish.
