I hate nothing more than needing to replace my guitar strings

Oh God

Taking the old ones out... fiddling at back of start to pull the bullet out and then cutting hands on curly string end.

Then putting new ones in and twisting and threading and cutting etc

Bah

Sounds damn good though

Well if/when the time comes I'll give them all a try and see which one I prefer.

I've got an SG. You lose some of the depth and sustain with an SG over a Les Paul, but its about a tenth of the weight and always looks damn cool.

But be warned - SG necks break VERY easily.

Well at least you like the Tele sound.. tis the most important thing.

As for Flying V's why dont you go for an Epiphone or Gibson one.. far more bang for your buck. Their sound will never go out of fashion. I'm not saying Ibanez's are crap, but they're very clinical..

Yeh, but they are tough little guitars. Great for swinging around and putting through Drum kits (sorry Goaty).

It's still ugly as sin. Although I can't deny that the sound is beautiful.

Get a new guitar then :-P

Hehe, my mate inherited his dad's 70's Fender Telecaster with USA case and everything. Everyone goes all "holy sheet" when he gets it out...but he sucks at guitar, haha.

And Telecasters are ugly anyway, haha.

My next leccy guitar is gonna be an Ibanez Flying V, I hope.
