The magic has gone.

After ages of playing and completing it numerous times, Grand Theft Auto has finally lost it's touch.

I don't know why. But it's weird. I look upon it as just another game, don't realy notice it, just lay it on my shelf between MTV Music Generator 2 and Jak and Daxter - games I haven't played since about May.

What is wrong with me?
The freedom - The fun - The sickly joy - It's all just spun past me now.

Is anyone else getting this.

Well, I guess after a month It'll all be well and GTA will be my most-played game of the month.

Until that happy, day:

I'll miss you, old friend.

In that situation I'd blow all the policemen to hell!

Also, i am glad to hear that. I always thought that that was the main thing missing. Well, time to go pre-order :-D

In PSM2 it says (roughly) *you may be driving along doing nothing wrong and then suddenly you will hear some police sirens in the background, you wonder what you have done wrong and then you watch as the cop car speeds past you to go and chase some one else...*

Well i think the hand to hand combat will be better, as more kicks and things will be introduced. Mayber this means people will be harder to kill?

I do want the police to be much, much more realistic. I don't think it would slow down that much, because weapon kills could still be as efficient as they are.

Also, I do doubt that the PS2 could cope with a few gangs, police, pedestrians and the player all in one area doing different things.

Maybe on Playstation 4 :-D

I see what your saying, but the things that you want may result in slowing down of the action. If you have to spend a lot longer killing people then the 'fast action' may be reduced. I think the killing and driving and stuff is fine as it is. I also love the way the police are so dumb and just smash into you, its all part of its crazyness. Its not meant to be real, its meant to be fun.

I also want to see:

A community: Have like elections for a Vice City mayor, and you can run for it, command the police and what not.

Gang leaders on the street: Now, the big gangsters don't sit in a room that can only be accessed by cut-scenes, do they?

Hitman 2 style clothes-stealing: How cool would it be to walk up to a Triad, knock him down, and rip off all his clothes leaving him in the street in his undies?

Less easy to win fights: In real life, 3 punches won't kill someone. i want to get involved in big scraps, maybe multiple people all on all.

And Grapo, I'm not sure, my GTA3 broke down whilst I was working on my walkthrough :-)

on GTA3 cars do flip and roll easily, and old ladies do come up and beat you, as well as old men chasing you if a blast goes off near them. You playing the same game as me?
