I know you may be reading this out of pure boredem but there are things that have to be said on behalf of all the females that enjoy games out there.

I think that girls should be given a chance at anything they choose to try their hands on, and that includes games. Just because we're built
differently to boys dosen't mean we can't do anything they do like play resident evil. I suppose all the boys think "yeah yeah five minuites into the game she'll run of screaming." well truth be told so would most boys.
While i was on the bus this morning i was reading a nintendo magazine and a boy came up to me and said "Thats not something you see every day" referring to me reading what he thinks is "only" for boys. This type of thing is blatently unfair and i think it should be stopped. I know this may be sterotypical of me saying this but most boys think girls are crap at everything but i could beat most of you at a game eg banjo-tooie, super smash bros melee.

So i have a few things to say to all the sexist boys who think girls are crap at games (1)drop the sterotypical attitude towards girls thinking that they all wear make-up and suck at sports and games, (2)Give us a chance we may surprise you.

I find girls that are into games quite sexy. Naked 2 player Dancing Stage, anyone?

I've never been into a shop yet that refused to sell me a game because i was a girl
just because someone tells its unusual (which it is by the way) deosn't mean they think its wrong.
I find that boys think its kinda cool that I like games.
So quit moaning about it and find something worthwhile to moan about

Well...apologies if this sounds sexist but....can girl gamers stop moaning about being girl gamers ? Most people here on the forums aren't too worried which gender you are as long as what you post is interesting or fun. If you're worried about what people think then ignore those people ! V.simple.

Take me, my favourite music includes Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, I hate all football, in fact all sports, I suport the American war on terror, I think we should attack Saddam, my favourite anime is Love Hina and Oh My Goddess, most of my favourite films don't involve large explosions and stupid plots, I think Kevin Smith is a great film maker.

Right, nearly everyone on these forums can find something in that lot they think is wrong, the typical male sterotype says we should all love sport. I don't, an if anyone thinks less of me for that and takes issue with it, fine, I don't care if thats all they can think of to do with their time.

Girls can definately be good at games.
I know a girl who plays Crazy Taxi like a demon - in fact her high scores are better than mine, and I'm a Crazy Taxi Virtuoso.

I'm all for female people playing games and that boy who said that is a jerk. my best mate is a girl and i'm trying to get her to have a few death matchs with me on Red faction and Half life. She also likes Tomb raider and Silent hill although she did admit she didn't play Silent hill for long as it scared her but who cares.

I'm as bloke as the next geezer, and i'm all for equal rights for women. If their up to the job, let them have it. If they want games, give they games, and so on, and so on.

3. I met a girl gamer the other day and she's well minging, she admitted that she tried to kill herself and once played House of The Dead for so long over the holidays that she got blisters on her hand.
