"give girls gamers a chance"

I know you may be reading this out of pure boredem but there are things that have to be said on behalf of all the females that enjoy games out there.

I think that girls should be given a chance at anything they choose to try their hands on, and that includes games. Just because we're built
differently to boys dosen't mean we can't do anything they do like play resident evil. I suppose all the boys think "yeah yeah five minuites into the game she'll run of screaming." well truth be told so would most boys.
While i was on the bus this morning i was reading a nintendo magazine and a boy came up to me and said "Thats not something you see every day" referring to me reading what he thinks is "only" for boys. This type of thing is blatently unfair and i think it should be stopped. I know this may be sterotypical of me saying this but most boys think girls are crap at everything but i could beat most of you at a game eg banjo-tooie, super smash bros melee.

So i have a few things to say to all the sexist boys who think girls are crap at games (1)drop the sterotypical attitude towards girls thinking that they all wear make-up and suck at sports and games, (2)Give us a chance we may surprise you.

most i know would hate resident evil. frankly girls i know would not want to know about a game with even a minor gun in it but there could be girls that like 100% gore games and raceing games but no that i know. but i think girl gamers should be given a chance on games.

actually i wouldn't run off screaming. note the way its put "yeah yeah after 5 minuites she'll run off screaming" and also note the speech marks someone said it not me. and i'm actually 15.

She's 15 and she's my mate. Leave her alone, she's saying that she is being stereotyped by some boys, not all. She's rock 'ard aswell. She can have me :(

Well I know for a fact that NONE of the girls in my year like Games. All they are into are either Gareth Gates (YUCK!) or Slipnot (Gothics!), and some are too loyal to doing homework and going out for that sort of gameing personality

now i dunno half of these ppl are except rosalind.... argh

1. I wouldn't run off screaming 5 minites into Resi. In fact I have played all of them and never run off screaming once (although Silent Hill made me a bit edgy)

2. Most Boys wouldn't do either

3. Neither would most girls

4. How old are you? should you playimng Resi. It has a 15 certificate you know.
