Meh ;)
The thing is though - he could have just not posted or done soemthing like I have in the past ie * nh presses report this post button and waits for **** to be banned *
It works.

Neo - it's the way of the world and there's nothing you can do about it I'm afraid.
At the end of the day you just have to see this place for what it is - it's an internet chat forum, it's staffed by human's and we are all falliable.
What's happened has happened and as far as I see it what is the point in getting steamed up about it - Ashley got steamed up and look what happened to him. SR have their rules and will apply them as they see fit. We cannot read all the posts and make our own judgements because the most offensive ones have been deleted.
Sometimes it's better to accept what happens and move on. He will come back under a new name if he really wants to.

Far worse than this? Gasmark was banned for posting a joke serial number to some moron requesting serial numbers for warez. Gasmark perhaps should have known better, but his banning was a grey area. Ashley, and I do like him, clearly infringed the forum rules along with Res and Technofreak. Whether he was sticking up for someone else or not he definitely overstepped the rules that SR lay down. Gasmark was unbanned because he was not entirely wrong, Ashley will remain banned because there is no grey area. He broke the rules ergo he was banned.

In which case, Ashley is banned merely because he isn't capable of putting forward as intellectual an argument as I could. I don't need to tell you that's discriminative...
:P
Gasmark got unbanned for something far worse than this and a lot of other peole are making gay remarks, mystique being one of them but that doesnt matter does it?
