Spot on! Trouble is, it seems really pointless. Ah well, the next lectures will be applications, then it`ll get stupidly hard to understand!

so 22=0. and 15=3. one more....erm 100=1?

Exactly my thoughts at the time. It is hard to explain, (it took my lecturer 2 lectures to tell us - that`s about 1 hour 40 minutes). Basically though, you are using the remainder when dividing by 11. So 23 = 11 * 2 +1. So 23=1.

what da hell is modulo?

I had a great lecture today. We were told about usage of modulo. Its great. Our lecturer was dancing around he was so pleased to tell us!

Using say modulo 11,

12=33-10=112. etc... It can be very funny!

Ah, there it is!

Ofcourse it won't work on a colour monitor! :-D
