Come on everone, lets get into the guiness book of records. Write completely random stuff here, and try to get the thread longer than 600 replies (the world record) WOOHOO LETS GO. In fact i got an i dea, lets have a word game. I write a word, and u reply with the first word which comes into your head.

Look. I don't want to dissaude anyone from revising or anything, but I only got 3 GCSEs (back in the first year they came out!) when I left school, then worked for 3 years.

I went back to college after that and studied computing for 2 years while getting another GCSE in my spare time to make 4. Then I did a year's English Access course (great fun it was too) and went on to Uni at the age of 22.

Basically, what I'm saying is don't worry too much if you don't get the results you want, although do try to study hard. Going back to full time education is fun when you're older and have had some proper work experience, everything makes more sense and you can relate to it more.

If you don't find work, try to go to a 6th form and HE college and learn new skills, say in a 1 or 2 year Access or HND. Uni's and employers all look favorably on people who go back into education at a later date.

End of lecture! Hope this helps.

I'm told to revise. I'm clever, so I don't need to. I got all 5's in my year 6 SATS, I'm doing my year 9 ones next week.

(Darkness to teacher)

What do you mean, level 5 in my mock?

Yes, of course I revised!

But I got that 3 years ago!

Wahhh!

Good plan. I know exactly how you feel about averybody telling you to revise, I`ve had people ordering me to revise for years. Fortunately I think they`re beginning to give up now!

well, cheers for those words or wisdom. shows someone cares. But end of the day, i've heard those words a thousand times. I never really got into the revision ting during any of my previous exams. Did no revision for GCSE and passed easy. But step up to A-Level is massive. I have set up a revision timetable, but whether i stick to it is another matter.

You`ll be alright as long as you do some work.

I know this for a fact. I worked hard at Maths and Further, to get the grades I wanted. I also put a little effort into chemistry to make sure that was just good enough for Uni.

However, I didn`t do enough work for Biology, and as a result, the best I could manage was an E! That was for writing an essay about my Biology Teacher during a question about the ecology surroundings cows. Fortunately he never got to read it.

Revision is the key, so I expect to see the name Batitstuta out of the top 50 recent posters :-)

To be honest I have exams coming up too, and I`m not working that hard yet. I just keep coming here or messing about with my website.
