So I got this new operating system thing and it has actually cured my PC of some of the crap which was crashing it before.

It looks all colourful and friendly but what it doesn't tell you on the back of the box is that it hurts your eyes.

*itches eyes*

I don't kid either, stare at this screen for a few hours and you'll go mental.

Erm, so what I wanted to ask was what cool things they got on this which I can't find? And also how can I move that big green start button in the corner? It just don't go man...

They don't!

The layout of the room used to be 16 computers all layed out like this with the teacher at the front:

- - - -
- - - -
- - - -
- - - -

_

Now they got comps all round the room and they got software to see what we are doing!

Mohsye.com is the best games site ever!

Go there!

Macintosh OS 9.2 and X are the best operating systems around.

Well.. my favorites anyway.

Best WIndows OS is 95. All the others just crash and cause crap.

Log onto MSN, and find one of your contacts that has XP (there's no way of telling, but I just happened to know BS had just got a new PC). Then there are some new options for the XP version of MSN on the right of the chat box with the person, where you normally invite people.

-Remote Assistance
-Applicaion Sharing
-Whiteboard.

So far I've only tried the top one. I'll try out the others later. You can also chat using a camera or microphone in the chat box, rather than it directing you off to NetMeeting.

Worth trying out if there are people that have XP and you trust. Go to the help file in MSN and look for it if you need more info.

Taking over Big_slow's computer last night using Remote Assistance on MSN was fun :-)

Then I had to let him do the same to me, leaving a very confusing message in the PS2 WLT :D

You have to really trust the person to do that though, they can do anything (although you can quickly turn the PC off or disconnect the session - if you have chance)

If your computer's are networked that might work...

But otherwise you just need someone to have logged in and then gone to switch identities, so they crop up on the users screen. Also I don't know how long the computer stores the messages, but if no-one's got a password you could experiment.

Nice one Happy :-D

So they have to be logged on at the same time as me for me to be able to send a message?

Do you mean like on another PC, such as the one downstairs or on this same one?

Just asking because I've got some ideas ;-)
