Another story? Not today.

I'm writing about Fog Chat. The only reason I go on there, is to read stuff by Meka, Goatboy, Sheepy, Mystique... all the stuff the staff and half the regulars like to refer to as spam, but actually is about one hundred times more entertaining than anything else.

It looks like Sheepy's left, and I really didn't want to see that. So I wanna ask something.

Would anyone mind, if people started 'spamming' in here? In the beginning, we basically had one forum. It had stories, news topics, chat topics, and just having a laugh sort of thing. It's the variety. This forum would rule so much if we had a bit more variety.

So... does anyone on here mind? Stuff like drawings that people have done, topics asking if anyone wants to play cards... not important or clever, just stuff to entertain.

That blank topic was just me trying something... I thought nobody would be able to reply and it'll fall too bottom.

Also it's so boring reading the same comments in "spam" stuff.

Yeah spam so what... free forum I'll post what I want... maybe you should stop being so moany and post something I'm interested in instead of boring gaming stuff.

The forum is called chat so there :P

Interesting is different for everyone... so I'd be a bit of a hypocrite if I complained about the spam.

However, what I am going to complain about is people slagging off other people's posts, just because they don't find them interesting themselves. Or if you really must, do it with humour. Add something to a thread rather than knocking it.

There are a fair few posts about in chat which show quite a bit of original thinking, but mostly the mob decide it's not to their taste, and do their best to kill it off. I try to defend things from time to time, but I'm not around that much.

I think it's time to start a 'Save The Newbies' crusade...

Yeah, should die down a bit now. It wasn't a "I'M FED UP WITH THIS **** I WANT CHANGE!" topic anyway... just a "You know, I think it'll be cool if we did this."

Yep, chat is difficult these days.

There are SOME good topics on there, often started by a newbie.

Then some 'regular' attacks them if the topic isn't 100% original.

Well, get this, there's not much scope for original discussion when it comes to gaming.

Surely you come to a gaming forum you'd be interested in chattign about upcoming games and the like.

I hate the way certain 'regs' attack all newbies, no matter their quality.

And you're right about the lack of characters these days, or was it Venombyte that said that? So many people seem just the same.

And the city thing. It's not much of a community these days. There used to be forum jokes that everyone would get, but it's not like that any more. Refer to a long running joke, and most people will blank it, not understand.

There's more to say, but no time to say it.
