Ignore this post if it doesn't concern you. But it concerns me. Coming back from a great holiday, I was confronted with vitriol, completely unexpected from certain members of the forums (not mentioning any names - ok, Lord H) accusing me of being someone else, which was particularly disconcerting, considering they had no substantial evidence.
The user in question is Ryu Ken, who arrived for a week, conviniently the week I was on holiday, won GAD and then left. Ryu Ken is Shaneo/Lawless Fever.
How did I come to that conclusion?
1) Recently I have heard people telling me that Shaneo/LF was getting annoyed at not winning GAD. Why? The reason is because he copied a post called 'Lord of the Regs' and won for it. Sr were informed and it was promised he would never win again. So, he starts a new username and puts on loads of posts and reviews in a short time period/
2) He chose FFX for his win, a game that already have, for the accusers. This proves I wasn't him, but how does it prove I was him. Users, read this conversation I had with him on MSN...

Few days prob. Takes that long to deliver a GAD I reckon. Plus he mentions in another post that the PS2/Xbox price drop missed his birthday. Anyone remember Shaneo's 'It's my Birthday' post. All fits into place.
I just hope this will mean people stop accusing me, especially Prat of The Year™ Ben. Get your facts straight before accusing next time.

That's interesting, because you, pubeless (Herc) and the rest of the hair bare bunch were pretty much insisting Ryu was Reynolds, who in turn was RM18 in an argument with me for a good 2 days. ;)

You said he was Russ, and were adamant about it. Infact despite the amount of times I pointed out the fact that it was entirely possible you were wrong (given your "proof" was just that he sounded like Russ, and can speak English), and that would constitute harassment, you continually denied any possibility of it. ;)
I'd take that apology with a pinch of salt, Russ. At least until you've read the "Hi, I'm new" post by Ryu Ken, seems Quinty loses what little balls he has when he is forced to apologise for being incorrect to your face.

I remember catching Lawless Fever a while ago for cheating. He'd copied a topic off the Edge forums, and then written a tiny bit more. Since at the time I liked the guy, I didn't say anything - I'd only seen him do it once and I found Lord of the Regs funny. I'd confronted him bout it and he said he'd gotten desperate for a Gameaday and resorted to cheating. Oh well. There you have it.
