I doubt this is true, but at least with this rumour we will know at the end of September..
Also Animal Leader isn't being released in Europe *cries*
And Doshin isn't being released in America.
And I woudnt worry about the Rare rumor.
*Worries*
*Does some research into the rumor*
>Hold your breath for the end of the month..
LAWYER!
*cries heart out*
I mean...That..doesn't...matter
*cries more*
Now think of this situation from Rare's point of view.
There going to make games which people are going to enjoy no matter what. Now if someones going to offer you a CRAZY amount of money like that, are you seriously going to turn it down?
No your not!
Also there's the fact that Microsoft don't have really many exclusive games on their X-Box. They need some. So why not just throw another large some of money at one of the greatest games developers in the world!
Unfortunately I think this IS going to happen!
All of Rare's Cube games were yanked from release schedules months back! We ain't seen anything of any of their Cube games apart from Starfox Adventures.
Also it was said that the announcement of the buyout was only going to be done around or after the release of SA. That's coming up isn't it?
This is a bit of a doom n gloom post, but I'm sorry to say/think that they've gone.
hmm... now will I still send them my CV in a years time!?! More than likely!
lol
:)

Actually, according to the official Rareware website (www.rareware.co.uk), Nintendo own 25% of Rare. Dunno where everyone else gets their figures from...
I'm sure the RSPCA would be interested in this...

thats all well and true , but those other companies that own stakes in rare , could sell their shares to microsoft , then microsoft would have as much say as too what rare do as nintendo do.
and i liked banjo kazooie.
If the rumour is true, then I doubt the x-box will ever make a profit since so much has been spent on it.
