I usually indulge my angsty, tortured side in this forum where the grown-ups live, but today I just want to share my retardly happy side for a change.

Went out last night to a local pub, ended up spending the night chatting to a lass into ROCK music that happens to love videogames. She's fit.
And I bump into a guy I used to work with about 4 years ago, got his mobile number and can't wait to meet up with him.
Took the rock-chick back to her place as she was too drunk to drive her car (although not plastered, just over the limit)and went in for "a cup of tea".
Looking at her CD collection:
Corrosion on Conformity, Clutch, Slayer, Tool, Soulfly, Sepultura, Soil, Pink Floyd, The Doors, Helmet, White Zombie. Basically a female version of me. (god forbid)
Sit up until 7am talking, smoking and listening to ROCK. "You can stay here if you want" and she heads to bed with "Sleep in here with me, I won't bite"
Didn't pole her, just a nice fumbly then sleep.
Woke up at 2pm, had breakfast and some more fumbly.

Back at home now, bacon sandwich in hand before I head out to London to meet up with a lass I saw on Monday. She's a dancer (ballet and art-school, not pervy) and I've been given the go-ahead to kip on her sofa tonight.
Yeah right.
And have the new Queens of The Stone Age CD, also sitting here listening to new Clutch tracks.

This has been a really, really enjoyable weekend.
No X-rated activity, just good music, seeing a good mate from years back, a nice almost-teenage-again snog before falling asleep beside rock-chick.
New CDs, out again tonight, bacon sandwiches and I am in the best goddamn band in the land.

No "Whoa is life" crap from me for a while yet, and don't expect any posts from me until tomorrow afternoon.

*runs hands through hair*

(Now, you see, that would actually be HIDING from your problems, not FACING them. There's a rather large and important difference.)

maybe some people deal with stuff best if they do lock it away inside. Kinda like 'maybe this is not happening if i dont tell anyone' tactics. Who knows, i'll go water the plants now...

Let people see what we're really like? Nooo!

(Christ, imagine finding out that your boyfriend actually talks to his brain and writes... poetry.)

I can't imagine having a boyfriend in the first place.

(Oh shut up, we know you're not gay, stop being so bloody paranoid.)

I'm not paranoid.

(Yes you are.)

...I don't go on about not being gay that much, do I?

(Yes.)

Oh.

(Hmm. Have you ever considered you may be gay, considering how defensive you are of being so?)

Yes, but then I realised I wasn't attracted to men, which kinda quashed the thought.

(Are you homophobic?)

No...

(I reckon you're gay.)

I'm not gay! Shut up.

(Then someone is. What is it, one in six? The forum must be full of gay people.)

Does it matter?

(Not in the least, but they aren't making it known.)

Why should they have to? Why should we have to know every detail about people? Surely we're allowed some sort of secrecy?

(Yeah, sure, but I'm worried for all the people that have to keep stuff locked inside. The number one reason for insanity, I'm sure, is having to cope with something very difficult to cope with, all on your own.)

Mmm. True.

Grix signals the death of a relationship ;-)

Still, yeah, if she clings and you want to get rid of her....

So are you playing the field here or what.

You have the rock chick and the dancer chick, apart from the obvious question of Are you really going to sleep on the sofa tonight ;) I think we need to ask the love goat who is he going to pick. :)
