Reading a mag the other day I found out how to speed up my PC when it is booting up by changing settings in msdos.sys.
The thing about tips like this is you can only really come across them and you can't really search for them as you don't know they exist. (if you know what I mean!)
Anyway, anyone got any cool tips for improving Windows 98 by a method like this?

my tip: use more than one fan in your PC (excluding the PSU fan)
try and get cooling to your hdd as it's the most used part of the PC... I think, probably not. Mine melted and i'm quite impressed with myself!
