Why do most ADSL providers like BTOpenworld, Freeola and Freserve charge £29.99 a month for ADSL connections when there are others like Pipex that only charge £23.44 a month.
What's the difference and if there isn't one, why don't Freeola make it cheaper?

Well, was kinda curious myself so tried searching on the net. Was impossible to get a single figure of course, but seemingly exchange upgrades can cost between 100,000 and 1,000,000 depending on the size of the exchange and its age.

Its not £1m! All they have to do is update their switching to digital so that it can handle higher traffic. They can do the upgrade in a matter of days

Nope, because you can't place an order unless your exchange has been upgraded... the fact is, BT make a profit at 50 users. The trigger level is 400 users. Even including fakes, you do the maths.

Network Address Translation, it's just a better version of Internet Connection Sharing. More powerful.
