"I got a Dreamcast"

Woohoo, my lifelong ambition of owning a Dreamcast (not) has been fulfilled today, since I bought one.

True story:

Went into town today with absolutely no intention of buying a Dreamcast. While looking in Game, I saw they had pre-owned Dreamcasts for £30.

Anyway, being the cheap person that I am, I asked the guy if I could have it for £20. After a lengthy wait (the guy went out the back, probably to ring somebody :D), the guy said that was okay. so, using the £25 I had in my wallet, I bought the Dreamcast and a VMU. Problem was, the VMU was actually £7, so the guy knocked off £2 from the Dreamcast to cater for my monetary problems.

So I got a Dreamcast for £18.

Then, I went to CEX and bought some DC games - Sonic Adventure £5, Chu Chu Rocket £1, Shenmue £12 and Skies of Arcadia £20 (heck, I really wanted it). Funny thing is, I just took more money out my bank account. I could have paid £30 for the Dreamcast, but I liked the 'I'm a poor cheap person' act and got the DC cheaper :).

Woohoo! I'm looking forward to a looong night of Shenmue. What a game :D.

w00t! Another person with Skies, congratualtions on making the best purchase of your life :) And take Shenmue back, it's crap. You should get Soul Reaver, the graphics weren't great (apart from the amazing intro) but it sure was a great game.

Shenmue rules.

He pointed out my friend's communist T-shirt, saying that it was good. And it is good. So we started talking about communism saying how great it is and what not, the guy disagreeing and all. Anyway, some other guy said something about the Berlin wall - don't ask me why, just did. Anyway, that's CEX for ya. And last year I managed to con one of the shop staff into selling me the FF10 OST. Somebody else had ordered it, and it was waiting to be sent, but I managed to snag it :D.

Yeah, surprising that. I asked the guy if I could get it for less than £20, but he said the reason it's so expensive is because it's so rare. That'd explain it then. I also had an argument with the guy about the building of the Berlin Wall - he thought it went up in the 1980's, but it was actually 1957 (I think, or around about then).

Ahhhhhhhhh yes trusty Game Cube a console that is as aesthetically pleasing as it is quality ;D you can't go wrong with Game Cube :D

Shenmue is great until you get so far and you have to do those stupid jobs it gives you.

Damn, I wanted Skies but never found it anywhere! Grrrr!

I'll wait until te GC version now though.
