"Why wont Nintendo buy Sega?"

It sounds stupid and chances ar it is but I think it would be great if Nintendo bought Sega. The Sega Dreamcast in my eyes was not a sensational success but they make superb arcade games with Namco etc. I think that Nintendo should buy Sega, elimenating them from competition, allowing them to get all Sega's games etc and cornering the arcade market. Chances are my plans are flaud in so many ways but I can't see it ;D

i'd rather have a dreamcast 2 than *shudder* a GC2

I read sega are buying loads of little developers now, also EA fitted in there some how but i cant remember how.

it stops them making a (shudder) dreamcast 2 or whatever and allows nintendo to corner the arcade market too. the games are an added bonus:D

Sega are making games on all consoles pretty much now so what's the point?

but you have to ask yourself Tiltawhirl "why not...?" I wouldn't be against it but then again if say Sony bought Sega I would probably feel differently :D

That'd be unfair to other Games consoles, After all the Xbox has Shenmue 2 and a few other Sega greats coming to the console, Nintendo buying out Sega would be a shame.

Nintendo have already got Rare, so it'd be a bit greedy too own two companys.

Microsoft own Bungie (the people who made Halo)

Sega are an independant games company anyhow.
